Transcribear also follows the highest industrial-level standards in terms of security. This means all your transcripts are securely encrypted when they are saved under your account. If you are still concerned about privacy and confidentiality, you can choose to use only manual transcription on Transcribear, without saving transcripts under your account. Your audio/video files and transcripts never leave your workstation as Transcribear works completely offline in this mode and your transcript is only auto saved in your web browser's local storage.

How can I manage or delete information about me?
We store data for as long as it is necessary to provide products and services to you.
Information associated with your account will be kept until your account is deleted, or unless we no longer need the data to provide products and services. You can manage information about you or delete your account any time in the settings of Transcribear.

Changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on the Site and we recommend that you review the Privacy Policy to ensure you are aware of any changes made to it.
