Fuss Free, All-in-One & Private
Our passion is to make transcription and annotation easier for everyone. Originally developed for a research project - the CAWSE Corpus
, Transcribear is a browser-based tool that allows you to transcribe and annotate data on the same interface. The manual transcription mode can operate offline so that your recordings and transcripts can remain secure and confidential. The automated transcription mode uses state-of-the-art technology to convert speech into text and can save you hours' or even days' manual work.
Transcribear also allows you to customize the annotation scheme and shortcut keys according to your needs. With a user-friendly interface, Transcribear has a built-in spell checker and validation functionality. No matter you work with text, audio or video files, Transcribear can help you with any project and do it faster and better. If you don't want to transcribe the data yourself, don't worry. We also provide bespoke transcription service for you!
Reliable & Quick Turnaround
With rigorous academic training and years of experience, we deliver professional quality in your specified timeframe. Our team has years of experience transcribing audio and video recordings in a range of settings from oral presentation to group discussion. Depending on your needs, we can also add linguistic and paralinguistic information (for example, code-switching or gesture use) to the transcripts. We particularly specialise in academic or research projects where reliability and accuracy of transcription and annotation is essential. Currently we are able to take on projects where English or Chinse (or both) is used as the medium of communication.
If you require any customization of the functionality available on Transcribear, we would also be more than happy to discuss the detail with you.
